'Brain Ripples'is a unique sculpture part of a series made by the artist that focuses on the reinterpretation of the brain theme . It is made with carved plaster to underlines the fragility of the subject ,finished with a black and red  lacquer to enanche the idea of blood flow and the dark remote parts of memories  . The intricate volumes and shapes ,together with the texturized surface  reminds us of the marks left by a flow of emotions.
The artwork represents Brain ripples : brief high-frequency oscillatory neural activities in the brain ,regarded as playing an essential role in several aspects of memory function.One or two seconds before people recall an image they had previous seen, cells in a key memory center in the brain fire together, creating a "ripple" of activity. Seconds before a memory pops up, certain nerve cells jolt into action in sync.
